My review.
Laurelin Paige has another best selling book on her hands with Star Struck. This second release in the Lights, Camera series is even more addicting than its predecessor. Star Struck tells the story of Heather, an actress sorely in need of a vacation, but her assistant ends up volunteering her for a charity event. To cover her nervousness, Heather hides behind a fake exterior of haughtiness. Enter Seth Rafferty. Heather believes that he is just a lowly carpenter when he is actually a very popular production designer. As with all couples in Laurelin Paige’s books, the sparks and sexual chemistry are electric and white hot. One thing leads to another and the sex is just as hot as you knew it would be. Seth ends up showing up on the set of her next movie, bringing all his Seth sexiness with him. And then the sparks really fly.
I absolutely adored this book. This is a great read about mistaken impressions and not judging someone by what’s on the outside. Heather and Seth ended up being one of my all time favorite couples. Seth could see beneath Heather’s snobby exterior to the nervous and insecure girl that she really was. And despite Heather’s first impression of Seth, she could see something in the man that attracted her. Both characters saw the best in each other whether they wanted to admit it or not. Being that this is a Laurelin Paige book, you know that there is going to be some kindle melting scenes and the author does not disappoint. These characters practically glowed with all the energy and chemistry between them. Seth is definitely going to have to go in my book boyfriend file.
This is a must read. Sexy, charming, fun, dramatic. I loved it.
